Heritage Services (“we”) operates heritageservices.online and Agent Index. This notice explains what personal data we collect and why, in plain language, aligned with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025 (many operational duties apply from 13 May 2027 — we build to them now).
What we collect
- Contact and listing forms: name, work email, company, product URL and message — to process submit/claim/sponsor requests.
- Newsletter (when live): email address with unticked opt-in and easy withdrawal.
- Server logs: IP address, user agent and request metadata for security and abuse prevention, retained in line with CERT-In log guidance where applicable.
Why we use it
To respond to your requests, operate the directory, send newsletters you opted into, secure the site, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing
Processors may include email/newsletter providers (e.g. beehiiv when connected), hosting/CDN (e.g. Cloudflare Pages) and payment gateways when you buy a sponsorship. We require appropriate contracts.
Your choices
Email sales@heritageservices.online to access, correct or withdraw consent for marketing. Unsubscribe links will appear in every newsletter.
Security and breach
We apply reasonable security safeguards. Relevant incidents will be handled under applicable DPDP and CERT-In timelines.
